A destination wedding in Mexico should not have to stress you out, for this reason, we've put together a list of common questions most couples have.

How long has Sanchez Photographers been in business?

Antonio Sanchez first started the company in 2002. He began taking photos at the age of 17, and is self-taught from years of hands-on experience.

What is the photography style at Sanchez Photographers?

Our photography is natural and artistic. We work with the bride and groom and ask many questions to learn about each couple so we can put together a masterpiece. No wedding is the same. Every set of photos is unique.

Do you provide a written contract?

Yes, we provide a contract for all of our projects.

Why are your prices not listed?

Every wedding is different. Some wedding parties choose to hire us for five hours, while others hire us for a whole week. For this reason, we do not list prices on our website. We provide quotes based on each client’s needs and wants.

What is included in the price?

Pre-wedding or “Trash-the-dress”: Choice of one, or both sessions for an additional fee. For weddings: Depending on the wedding size, we provide you with our photography team for 6 to 12 hours max. We can accommodate small and large weddings.

What type of equipment is used?

As of 2022, we have upgraded to the Canon EOS R6.

How many photos can we take? Can we see every photo?

We shoot unlimited shots during each photo session. We then review and select the best photos. On average, we will provide you with 1,000 photos for your gallery and for you to make a final selection.

When do you require payment?

As stated in our contract, we require a downpayment of 50% (of the total). The outstanding balance is due one week prior to your wedding date.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept credit cards and other payment options. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding payment.

Do you keep a copy of photos that you take?

After you are provided with high-resolution JPEG images (or RAW files, if requested) we keep hard copies of your photos. A copy of the photography files are uploaded to our secure servers where they will remain for at least two months.

How do you make sure that you don’t lose photos or mix up the photos from other weddings or events?

As soon as we get back to our studio, we make a copy of the photography files to our secure cloud server. We also duplicate the RAW files onto two separate external hard drives, and the hard drives are kept in separate locations to ensure that we have the files saved in multiple locations.

How long does it take to receive the photos?

You will be provided with a secure link to view the photos in your gallery within the first week after your wedding.

What if our resort already has a photographer included in the wedding package?

The most important thing after your wedding day will be the photography from your wedding day. Therefore, it is best that you have the best photographer with the style that you prefer. It is possible that you might have to negotiate with your hosting venue to allow for an outside photographer.

How do we choose the right wedding photographer?

The number one thing you should be looking for is style. Photography is an art and every artist has their own style. We believe our style can cater to many styles and events.
